Photo Hunters * OLD-FASHIONED *

An old-fashioned photo of my mother. Look at the style of clothing and shoes she is wearing.

The Marine's necklace was given to my mother by my dad. The small "Old-Fashioned "placque was given to my mother on her 3rd birthday in 1939.
The inside of the locket has a photo of my mother and dad. He gave it to her in 1952 soon after he joined the Marines. An old-fashioned locket is a great keepsake to pass down through the generations.

That's a wonderful photograph of your mother and the locket is such a great keepsake. That's so neat that the old plaque was saved too. Hope you have a pleasant weekend.
Great photo of your mother. You know, those shoes would probably be fine to wear now - I love 'em.
Happy weekend.
It is just so cool that you still have these mementos.
Wonderful pictures, and memories. Your mom was so cute.
Your mother sure looked like a mischievous child! How fortunate you are to have these family heirlooms.
Precious mementos of your Mama and Daddy, Angela.
I do hope you're feeling much better now, and have a blessed Sunday! ;o)
Love and hugs,
Diane
Good Evening Angela,
Oh what some precious things of your Mom and Dad. I love the lockets like that. I have one myself somewhere. It may be in one of my jewelry boxes still unpacked. "THANK YOU" for sharing such wonderful memories of your Parents. The picture of your Mother when she was younger is just beautiful. I do have to say that I love the clothes she has on. Take care my friend and have a great evening. May God Bless You and Yours.
Love & Hugs,
Karen H.
I love it all. Things like this are very precious.
Love the photos, Gran. More than the old-fashioned objects are the values, the memories and wonderful times. I feel nostalgic that you were able to preserve these things that people don't give much importance these days.
Best regards!
